What we collect, what we do not, and the choices you have.

This policy explains how QA Practice (qapractice.com) handles information when you use the site. QA Practice is a free educational platform where QA and automation engineers practice against sample web pages and read interview-preparation material. We have tried to keep this document specific and readable rather than filling it with boilerplate that does not apply to us.
QA Practice's practice pages include login forms, registration forms, checkout flows and other inputs that exist so you can write automation scripts against them. This is the part most visitors ask about, so to be completely clear:
The credentials shown on the practice pages are fictional demo values published on the page itself. Even so, please treat these pages as public demos and never enter a real password, real payment-card number, or any other genuine personal or confidential information into them. There is no reason to, and it is a good habit to carry into any test environment.
QA Practice is free to use and is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google is a third-party vendor and operates independently of us:
You can review how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices, or block cookies entirely in your browser settings. Blocking ad cookies does not affect your ability to use any part of QA Practice.
QA Practice does not currently run Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics or session-recording tool. If we add one in future, we will update this policy and change the "last updated" date above before it goes live.
Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps, automatically records standard server logs (such as IP address, timestamp and requested URL) as part of delivering the site securely. This is a normal function of web hosting and is used for reliability, security and abuse prevention.
Our Contact page does not upload anything to a server. It helps you compose a message and then opens it in your own email application, which you send yourself. As a result, we only ever receive what you deliberately choose to send us by email.
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use this solely to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or share your message with anyone. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.
QA Practice is intended for working professionals and students learning software testing. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at appdevelopers.ram@gmail.com and we will delete it.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent at any time.
Because QA Practice holds no accounts and no database, in practice we usually hold no personal data about you at all — apart from any email correspondence you have sent us. Requests about that correspondence can be made to appdevelopers.ram@gmail.com. Requests concerning advertising cookies must be directed to Google, since Google is the data controller for that data; the opt-out links in section 2 are the fastest route. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, without being discriminated against for exercising those rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, sharing data with advertising partners for personalised advertising can fall within the CCPA's broad definitions of "sale" and "sharing". To opt out, use the Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info links in section 2, or enable a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser. To exercise any other right, email appdevelopers.ram@gmail.com.
QA Practice is served over HTTPS. Because we do not operate accounts or store user records, there is no user database that could be breached. QA Practice also links to third-party resources such as documentation and LinkedIn; those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
We may update this policy as the site changes — for example, when the planned practice REST API is released. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use QA Practice after an update means you accept the revised policy.
